The Executive Director reports to the President of Simon Fraser University. The incumbent administers the business of the President's Office; acts as Office Manager, including human resources issues, administers all budgets; including operating, capital and specific purpose budgets and has full responsibility for the President's time and activities.
The incumbent works closely with the Executive Director and is responsible for co-ordinating and maintaining the President's appointments calendar.
The incumbent provides confidential administrative support to the President, the Executive Director, and Executive committees for all information processing, and financial administrative support for the President’s Office, including University Secretary and General Counsel.
The incumbent co-ordinates events sponsored or hosted by the President’s Office; researches background and supporting information for president’s speaking engagements and other key communications; updates website information and maintains key databases.
This person provides confidential secretarial and administrative assistance to the General Counsel, University Secretary and general reception and clerical support for the President's Office.
